About
Well Hello there; you’re here because you want to learn a bit more about the Blog huh?!?
Well let’s start with a little history about the blog;
Back in November 2009 two friends, “drinking buddies” decided that they needed to begin blogging to keep an on-line record of what they have drank and what they thought of the tasty brews. What started out as a joke began to take off. Focused on making this blog a little different from all the other “serious” blogs out there, Dos Beer-igos offered two opinions on each beer and compared the brews to real life experiences. Sadly, Dos of Dos Beer-igos received a promotion and had to move to Brandon, FL. Instead of breaking up the blog which was a passion of both founders, the Fermentation decided to take over the role of full time blogger. Without Dos by his side, the Fermentation offers weekly spots to anyone that would like to dabble in the beer blog world. Still offering two outlooks on the same beer, Dos Beer-igos continued their “Amigos That Love Beer” mentality.
So what about the reviews? How do you come up with those crazy scores?!?
Rankings….well most people put numbers on a beer (i.e this beer is 92/100) and some others give the beer a grade school type grade…..both of these are just LAME in our opinion. Fact of the matter is that neither of us were really good in school, and math definitely wasn’t one of our strong points. That said we are going to rank all beers on a 1 to 5 scale. 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. To make it a little different we will add in some decimals, why?…..we don’t know, we just thought it would be fun!
So how can I guest Blog or get my Local Bar Reviewed?
Easy; just contact the Ferm at Dosbeerigos@gmail.com
There is no requirement or beer history needed for the guest blog spot, but it is always a plus.
