Thats right folks its Sunday and this week we have a SUPER Special Guest! “Miguel” from MikeLovesBeer.com!

Ok, so I’m going to go all geeky for a minute and give a quick background on how I met Miguel.

About eight months ago I was bored and wanted to find an online blog that I could subscribe to, that was fun to read and a little different. So I simply searched for “Beer Blog” in Google, and POOF MikeLovesBeer.com pops up. I started reading daily, and really liked his stuff. This sort-a drove me to set something up simple of my own. I guess Miguel is who you can thank for Dos Beer-igos getting off the ground. Miguel and I ended up crossing paths thanks to this crazy Micro Beer community, and have started to drink with each other pretty regularly. I guess Good Beer brought together Good People.

Ok, so now a message from Miguel.

Hello readers, I’m Miguel, but most of you will know me as Mike from MikeLovesBeer.com. I’m originally from Bensalem, PA (just outside of Philadelphia) and now live in Boynton Beach, FL. Iv’e been a beer fan for quite some time, but it was just a few years ago that a cousin of mine took me to Isaac Newton’s in Newtown, PA. He insisted that I try a beer by the name of Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout, so I did. I guess what I didn’t realize at the time was that this was going to be a seriously great event in my life. I loved the beer, and I never knew anything like this existed. I will admit my beer of choice at the time was whatever had the funniest commercial on TV.

Well fast forward a few years, I now write about how much I love beer on a daily basis. I have met some absolutely awesome people in the craft beer community from other bloggers, people that work at the bars and stores, people the work for the distributors to even people who work for the brewers. And there is one thing we all have in common, we love beer.

I am honored to be allowed to guest blog with “The Ferm”, but I’m not going to lie I’m sort-a scared. Nah not really. This should be fun!

Cheers!
“Miguel”

Alright readers; heres the deal this week, if you read both of our pages you will probably see some overlap of material. We didn’t intend on this but we really could not continue to drink anymore. If you follow either of us on twitter then you would have seen the lineup, and got a glimpse into the tasting. Trust me the tweets were nothing compared to the final reviews. Also it is important to keep in mind that we reviewed each beer separately, and still haven’t read each others comments or scores.

Enjoy!

As always if you would like to guest blog and you are in the South Florida area simply shoot me an email and we can make it happen.
